From the Veritas to the Silver Screen: A Conversation with Joe Taft

We were back in studio for a special conversation with independent filmmaker and former WRPS student Joe Taft. Joe joined me to reflect on his journey from student journalism and digital media classes to directing his own independent films. This discussion covered his first short film, Innkeeper, and his latest project, Hey, Missy, along with the realities of indie filmmaking, collaboration, and the evolution of storytelling from page to screen.

It was a full-circle moment having Joe back in the same studio where he once anchored student shows, now returning as a filmmaker with festival experience and two films under his belt.
