Mental Health Mondays

WRPS is partnering with the town of Rockland, and the Rockland Recreation Department to promote Mental Health Awareness Month in May. Rockland High School student Christine Oteri wrote scripts for four different mental health topics, and intern Jonah Pishkin recorded and produced four radio public service announcements (PSA's,) as well as four video PSA's.

Every Monday in May, a different topic will be spotlighted. Each radio PSA will air at 8 AM, Noon, and 4 PM on 88.3 FM, and also streaming online at WRPSRockland.com. The corresponding video PSA's will be premiered on our YouTube channel at 10 AM each Monday in May.

We're honored to be a part of bringing awareness to the topic of mental health while easing the stigma so more people can feel comfortable asking for help.
